Comprehensive Dental Assisting Program
As a participant in the Expanded Duties Dental Assistant program offered at our dental assisting schools in KY, students are trained in either 16 weeks (day classes) or 24 weeks (night classes). As part of their dental assisting training, after their time on campus, students complete a 300-hour externship in a live dental office. The dental assistant program offered at our Louisville and Lexington, KY campuses is designed to provide students with a 70% hands-on experience, because the field itself is so hands on.
At our dental assisting school in KY, our dental assisting program has two classroom environments: business and clinic. In the business classroom, students will be trained to run the front office, perform patient intake, view electronic records, and many other duties you may be asked to perform. In the clinic, students will learn to assist the dentist in every procedure as well as learn to lead some procedures on their own. By providing both business and clinic instruction and experience MedQuest graduates have substantially more hands-on experience and knowledge than any typical dental assistant graduate.
Prior to graduation, each student works one-on-one with the Director of Career Services to build a professional resume, practice interviewing skills and prepare for the real life working environment. Even after graduation, MedQuest will continue to provide our Alumni with the same benefits even if it has been 10 years since the student received their diploma!
MedQuest College remains steadfast in our dedication to keeping our students informed. For a complete list of Disclosures, please click here.

I would recommend MedQuest to everyone I know
I leave every day having learned something new. Every day we do something hands-on and the teachers are wonderful. Our small class sizes help to grasp the concepts better. The available technology and resources really help you to understand the dental office better. I have absolutely no complaints about this school.

MedQuest has everything you need to learn.
I love the school. I would recommend to everyone that likes small classes and really good teachers. I have learned a lot, and by the end of my classes, I will be prepared for a good job at a dental office. It is all because I was well-prepared by the instructors. It has everything you need to learn.
