As we continue to navigate the world amid COVID-19, we want to make it clear that your health remains our top priority. In as such, we must take the necessary precautions to help ensure your safety. That means delaying our return to campus once again. Following guidance from government officials at the state and national level, we do not feel that it is safe to reconvene onsite classes on Monday, May 4, as previously scheduled.

We are optimistic that campus will open again in mid-late May and are currently working on a plan of transition. We ask that you remain patient with us as we finalize details. Please understand that all plans must be flexible until we feel certain that it is safe to reconvene classes onsite once again. We will share more information with you as arrangements become finalized.  

We miss our students and look forward to seeing you back on campus again soon. Until then, we will move forward with our existing virtual learning model. During this time, don’t hesitate to reach out to your support team for assistance. Your team of instructors, Program Directors, Student Support Coordinators, and members of campus leadership are eager to help. Of course, please feel free to contact me directly as well. Dear Student-

As we embark on another week of virtual learning, I want to take this opportunity to once again show my appreciation. Thank you for your continued dedication to our school and your support of our MedQuest College team during these times. You amaze and inspire me each and every day. While I miss having the opportunity to see everyone on campus, I am glad that we can still serve our students at home.

As we monitor the ever-changing world around us, the safety of our students, employees and the community remain top priority.  After careful consideration, it has been determined that our virtual learning model will need an extension. While we are eager to be back on campus with you, this is truly the best option for us right now. It allows you to remain safe at home with your loved ones and allows us to help you there.

MedQuest College plans to open for students again on Monday, May 4. Until that time, we will continue to teach through virtual means. Your Program Director will be in touch with further details. We will continue to keep you informed if these plans are altered in any way.

If you need additional support services during this time, please do not hesitate to reach out to your Student Services Coordinator. They can provide assistance in a number of areas and are here to help you. In an effort to provide the safest and most effective learning environment for students during this unprecedented pandemic, MedQuest College officials have made the following determination.

Effective Wednesday, March 18, MedQuest College will deliver all current course materials remotely until further notice. During this time, campuses will be closed for student visits. You will receive course content electronically through a combination of Zoom video conferencing and materials uploaded to Populi. Please find instructions for accessing the Zoom conferencing system and Populi assignments attached to this email.

 

Lexington Spring Graduation Postponed

At MedQuest College, we pride ourselves on providing quality service to the students we serve. This goes beyond your program of study – as graduates you are still considered part of the MedQuest Family. This is an unprecedented pandemic that we find ourselves facing, but our priorities remain the same-the continued safety of our MedQuest Family. To that end, we continue to monitor the effect that COVID-19 may have on our communities.

We continue to follow guidance prescribed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and US Department of Education. Because of the guidance from the CDC, we have elected to postpone our Spring 2020 graduation from Friday, April 17^th to Friday June 12^th. The time remains the same – 7:00 pm with graduates reporting at 5:30 pm. The location also remains the same – Northeast Christian Church, Lexington.

You will now have until May 22^nd to order your cap and gown, using the link provided to you in the original email. Also, please continue to RSVP using the original email and continue sending photos that you wish to be included in the slide show to sslone@medquestcollege.edu.

 

Louisville Spring Graduation Postponed

MedQuest Graduates,

As promised to keep all of you up to date with how the College continues to respond to the evolving situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). I want to assure you that our Executive Director Robin Boughey, along with our Campus Director Todd Jakub, have regularly assessed the virus and to discussed measures aimed at keeping all of you safe. We have discussed our upcoming Graduation Ceremony and the understanding of the status of the virus within Kentucky. Please ensure that your safety remains top priority. At this point, we have decided to postpone the Spring 2020 graduation. We will be combining the Spring and Fall 2020 graduation on October 16,2020 at 7pm.

The postponing of the Spring 2020 graduation ceremony will not impact students graduating and receiving their certificates or diplomas by mail if they meet all graduation requirements. If you have an employer that is requiring documentation of your completion of your degree, please have them contact us for verification at 502-245-6177.

You will be receiving more information regarding the graduation ceremony as we get closer to the October 16, 2020 date. For those who has already placed cap and gown orders, we will hold your order until the FALL 2020 Graduation ceremony. Those who has not placed cap and gown orders is advised to wait until you receive information regarding FALL 2020 graduation notification.
