We are an accredited school that trains people who want to become medical assistants because we know the importance of providing skills to people who help doctors and because the field is growing rapidly—the profession needs you!
There’s a lot of variety to the job, requiring attention to detail and great people skills. You’ll be the front line of care, doing everything from taking vital signs to assisting in minor surgeries, from managing medical records (including electronic health records) to medical billing and insurance. Because you are trained in both a clinical and an administrative setting, you have a broad range of skills for this versatile job.
You’ll find opportunities in many settings. Doctors’ offices are of course very popular. But many medical assistants work in public hospitals, private hospitals, assisted living facilities and both inpatient and outpatient facilities.
Graduation means you are eligible to take the certification exam for Medical Assisting from the American Association of Medical Assistance (AAMA). And your tuition covers a full year membership to the AAMA.
