EDDAs, or Expanded Duty Dental Assistants, are able to anything that is reversible without the Dentist being in the same room with them- so they have a great deal of hands-on capabilities! They are able to help their patients at the front of the office or in the clinic as well. Some of the duties they are able to perform include: putting in fillings, creating temporary crowns and bridges, making impressions, taking x-rays, assisting the Dentist during various procedures, etc!
