New Year, Think New Career!!!
Are you in a dead end job? Have you tried traditional colleges and found that it wasn’t the right fit for you? It is a new year, so why not start it with a career you are excited about! Dental Assisting might be just the career field you have been looking for!
Trying something new can be scary, but it can be liberating and ultimately the best thing you do for yourself. You can get started in your new career as a Dental Assistant sooner than think! All you really need to get started is the desire to help others, a high school diploma, and the right program to help you get you where you want to be.
Dental Assisting is a great first step into the Dental field. EDDAs, or Expanded Duty Dental Assistants, are able to anything that is reversible without the Dentist being in the same room with them- so they have a great deal of hands-on capabilities! They are able to help their patients at the front of the office or in the clinic as well. Some of the duties they are able to perform include: putting in fillings, creating temporary crowns and bridges, making impressions, taking x-rays, assisting the Dentist during various procedures, etc!
If this sounds like the right career path for you, MedQuest College has an amazing program that trains students in less than a year to become an EDDA. They have small class sizes, with no more than 14 students in a classroom with 70% hands-on training. They offer Day or Night classes to fit your busy schedule so you can still work and go to school too. You too can start the New Year off right with the training you need for a New Career.
