Giving Tuesday – MedQuest hosts Canned Food Drive

The holidays are just around the corner and MedQuest is ramping up to end 2016 with a bang. One way we can accomplish this is to get involved with our community during one of the times volunteers/donations are most necessary. Many local families and shelters are in need of funds and food supplies to ensure that every person in our community has a holiday dinner.

This year the MedQuest staff, along with our Medical Assisting and Dental Assisting students, have made the decision to participate in “Giving Tuesday.” This takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. This is a globally celebrated day dedicated to giving back. Charities, businesses, community centers, and people around the world will join together to promote generosity during the Holiday season.

MedQuest will be hosting a Food Drive which will begin on November 1 and end on November 29. Potential students who enroll in the month of November can use this opportunity to donate canned foods and receive $50 off of their application fee.
